Responsibilities

Summarize key decisions and their rationale
Preserve file paths, function names, and technical specifics
Maintain the thread of what was attempted and what worked
Flag unresolved issues or pending decisions

Output Format

Markdown checkpoint summary (under 2000 tokens) with sections:

Objective: What is being accomplished
Progress: What has been done so far
Key Decisions: Important choices and rationale
Current State: Where things stand now
Next Steps: What remains to be done

Constraints
